Secret Indictments Lead to Four Drug Arrests

IRONTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Four South Point, Ohio-area residents are now in jail after being arrested and charged with drug trafficking.

Lawrence County, Ohio Prosecutor Brigham Anderson says the four were arrested following an investigation by the Lawrence Drug and Major Crimes Task Force that ended with secret indictments by a recent grand jury.

Anderson says Holly Ployer, 32, and Stephanie Tucker, 35, both of South Point, were arrested Wednesday. Ployer is charged with five counts of drug trafficking. Tucker is charged with two counts off drug trafficking.

Thursday, task force members arrested Danny Jones, 27, and Racael Jones, 28, both were currently living at a South Point motel.

During their arrests, two guns were recovered. One of the guns recovered was stolen in Huntington back in 2005. In addition, officers also confiscated 83 oxycodone pills.

Danny Jones is charged with three counts of drug trafficking, with additional drug and gun charges possible.

Rachel Jones is charged with four counts of drug trafficking.
