Sheriff finds pot in Bucyrus, northern part of county

Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, METRICH task force, and Bureau of Criminal Investigation conducted marijuana eradication on Tuesday in Crawford County.

Marijuana plants were removed from areas in the city of Bucyrus and the northern part of the county. There were 465 plants seized, and they will be destroyed.

The estimated street value of the plants is $465,000. Two citations were issued for cultivation of marijuana.
