Summit drug agents raid Akron home, arrest alleged heroin dealers

Two men were arrested Friday after the Summit County Drug Unit raided a home in Akron.

Brian L. Williams, 51, and Christopher Hale, 47, were each arrested inside the Gold Street home on warrants for heroin trafficking. They were being held in the Summit County Jail pending an appearance Saturday in Akron Municipal Court.

Drug agents secured a search warrant to enter the home at 324 Gold St., located off North Valley Street near West Market Street. Agents seized $1,700 in cash and a 2006 BMW.

Additional charges are possible when the investigation concludes, agents said
