U.S. Attorney Steve Dettelbach said law enforcement has to collaborate to be effective. Dettelbach was the guest speaker at Wednesday’s annual METRICH Enforcement Unit meeting at the Holiday Inn.

As Chaise Nelson bobbed and weaved, his “Old Glory” headgear looked like an American flag flapping in the breeze. His hands moved almost as fast as a tropical storm. Watching him spar with 22-year old Nick Stevens in the Friendly House Boxing Center, it’s hard to believe Nelson was  giving up nearly eight years to his opponent.

Chase Nelson appreciates his new surroundings. The 14-year-old boxer, a freshman-to-be at Ontario High School, was involved in one of several sparring matches Friday at the Friendly House to show off the new boxing ring for a crowd of more than 40 people.
