Trailer park site of search warrant, possible OD

A possible overdose was reported and a search warrant was executed at Highland Park Estates Tuesday.

A person reported the possible overdose at 9:30 a.m., according to a Tiffin Police Department report.

The trailer park is located at 686 S. Sandusky St., and Sgt. Bryan Bryant of Tiffin Police Department said the apparent heroin overdose occurred at Lot 1.
Tyler L. Carter, 24, of Tiffin, was unresponsive until Narcan, medication that reverses the effects of an opioid, was administered by Tiffin Fire Rescue Division, according to the police department.

He was taken to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital by Tiffin Fire Rescue Division, Bryant said.

Carter was charged with drugs-marijuana paraphernalia, according to the police department.

In a separate investigation, Seneca County Drug Task Force — METRICH Enforcement Unit and Tiffin Police Department officers executed a search warrant at Highland Park Estates, Lot 109, Tuesday afternoon.

Detective Chuck Boyer, unit coordinator of Seneca County Drug Task Force — METRICH Enforcement Unit, said officers’ investigation was into the traffic in and out of the trailer, which is the residence of April C. Hull, 31.

Boyer said officers found evidence consistent with drug trafficking and abuse.

He said officers found prescription pills, needles and digital scales. They also found suspected heroin in a brown paper bag, he said.

“We send it out (for testing),” he said.

Boyer said Hull would have been arrested if she had been at the trailer when the search warrant was executed. Charges were pending Tuesday.
