Two arrested, child removed in drug raid

Two people are in custody at the Crawford County Justice Center after a raid Friday afternoon on a Bucyrus residence.

According to Bucyrus Police Chief David Koepke, the pair was arrested after officers searched the home at 230 W. Charles St.

“Crack cocaine, heroin and two locked safes were confiscated from the residence,” Koepke said.

Koepke said an 11-year-old child was removed from the home.

The names of the two suspects are being withheld until formal charges are filed.

Koepke said the raid was accomplished in conjunction with METRICH, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and Galion Police Department.
