Two city residents arrested on drug charges

Two city residents were arrested on felony drug charges after a search warrant was executed at their 504 West Chillicothe Avenue residence Friday afternoon around three o'clock.

The Logan County Joint Drug Task Force reports that Christopher   Mundy (pictured left), 32, was arrested on three counts of trafficking in crack cocaine and one count of possession of crack cocaine.

Ashley Ogula (pictured right), 29, was not home at the time of the search warrant. She was arrested hours later on a warrant for permitting drug abuse trafficking.

The task force had been investigating drug trafficking from the subjects' residence in the previous months. Mundy and Ogula used to live at 121 St. Paris Street until May.

Crack cocaine and a digital scale were seized Friday. Mundy also had a small bag of marijuana in his possession during the arrest.

Logan County Children's Services assisted at the scene and made arrangements for three children in the home.

Mundy and Ogula were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
