Two People Arrested Following Drug Bust in Wyandot County

A drug bust to start the weekend in Wyandot County landed two people in jail.

According to a release from the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit, a search warrant was served at 221 South Street in Carey where drugs and money were found.

33 year old Heather Hyden and 23 year old Ian Hunter, both of Carey, were taken into custody and charged with drug related crimes. They are being held at the Wyandot County Jail.

The warrant was issued following an investigation by the METRICH Enforcement Unit into drug activity in the Carey area.

The Wyandot County Sheriff's Office and the Carey Police Department assisted with the service of the warrant.
