Wanted Subjects and Meth Lab in Medina County

On Wednesday February 12, 2014 agents from the Medina County Drug Task Force, with help from officers from the Medina Police Department, went to a home in the 500 block of North Broadway Street to serve several outstanding arrest warrants.  Three people believed to be in the house had outstanding misdemeanor warrants for Attempted Unlawful Purchase of Pseudoephedrine, a 2nd degree misdemeanor.  While searching the house for the wanted people agents saw miscellaneous drugs and drug paraphernalia. A search warrant was obtained to conduct a more thorough search of the home.     While conducting the search agents found five (5) one-pot meth vessels in a bedroom of the home. Additional chemicals commonly used in the manufacturing of meth were also found in the bedroom. Three (3) additional one-pot vessels were found in the garage of the home.

In addition to the misdemeanor warrants one person was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine (F-1).  Five others were charged with Illegal Assembly, an F-2, and one of these was charged with Tampering With Evidence, a 3rd degree felony.   The mother of the children was indicted for Endangering Children along with Illegal Assembly of Chemicals.
