Woman charged with drug crimes

A Mentor woman was arrested in Mentor-on-the-Lake in connection with two separate drug cases.

The cases, investigated by Mentor-on-the-Lake police and the Lake County Narcotics Agency, involved an alleged prescription forgery for opioid painkillers and the possession of another lot of them, Mentor Municipal Court records show.

Crystal Facemyer, 22, of 5740 Meister Road, is charged with fourth-degree felony deception to obtain a dangerous drug, fifth-degree felony illegal possession of drug documents and fifth-degree felony forgery, her record shows.

Facemyer also is charged by the Lake County Narcotics Agency with third-degree felony deception to obtain dangerous drugs, her record additionally states.

If convicted of all four felony counts, Facemyer could be sentenced to a maximum 6 and one-half years behind bars.  Her arraignment paperwork shoes the defendant is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on March 16, the docket shows.
