Two Search Warrants Lawrence County
In the evening hours of March 19th, 2014, officers with Lawrence Drug & Major Crimes Task Force, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ironton Police Department executed two search warrants the first being at the residence of Larry K. Layman located at 71 Township Road 1034 South Point, Ohio and the second being at the residence of Steven T. Layman located at 97 Township Road 1034 South Point, Ohio.
Officers seized oxycodone, alprazolam, cocaine, marijuana, forty-one thousand dollars cash, two firearms, and two vehicles at Larry K. Layman’s residence. The narcotics have an estimated street value of ten thousand dollars. Larry K. Layman age 63 and Steven T. Layman age 31 were arrested. The father and son are each being charged with trafficking in drugs. They will be arraigned on March 21st in Lawrence County Municipal Court.
