Charges pending in drug-related search

A drug-related search warrant Friday morning at a Fostoria residence yielded criminal tools, money and evidence of drug trafficking and abuse.

According to a release from the Seneca County Drug Task Force - METRICH Enforcement Unit, local law enforcement, along with agents from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, executed the search warrant at 851 Bugner St., the residence of Jocelyn M. Schreiner, 22, and Cory D. McDonald, 27.

Sgt. Don Joseph of METRICH said suspected marijuana and cocaine residue also was found inside the residence.

Charges are pending upon lab analysis of the suspected drugs, he said.

"The task force will continue to actively investigate those that operate outside of the law by selling drugs that harm our communities. We will continue to pool our resources together and work with our neighboring agencies to combat the problem. We certainly appreciate the help and support we have received," Joseph said in the release.
