Drugs, guns seized in Fairport Harbor bust

A Fairport Harbor man was arrested on drug charges after a six-month investigation into drug activity at a King Street residence.

Law enforcement officers from the Lake County Narcotics Agency, Fairport Harbor Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant July 20 at 436 King St.

Officers seized crack cocaine and marijuana with an estimated street value of over $2,500. Officers also seized cash, drug paraphernalia and two firearms, including one that was recently reported stolen.

LaDonta A. Bolden, 24, was arrested and charged with third-degree felony possession of drugs, third-degree felony possession of drugs and fifth-degree felony possession of criminal tools.

According to the Lake County Narcotics Agency, additional charges are pending as a result of the joint investigation between that agency Fairport Harbor Police Department, Painesville Police Department, Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Lake County Prosecutor’s Office and the Lake County Crime Lab.
