Findlay Man Arrested After Warrant Served at Residence in that City

A Findlay man was arrested after a search warrant was served at a residence in that city on Thursday.

The Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Special Response Team and the Findlay Police Department’s K9 Units executed a narcotic search warrant at 8115 Parkwood Drive in Findlay.

The investigation was initiated after the Task Force had fielded complaints on the address.

The search of the residence yielded suspected methamphetamine, and other items of paraphernalia were located indicating drug use and trafficking.

A loaded small caliber rifle was also seized.
As a result of the search, 32 year old Michael J. Bennett was arrested.

He is being held on charges of possession of methamphetamine, having weapons under disability, resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

Additional charges of drug trafficking are expected at the conclusion of the investigation.
