Findlay woman arrested after drugs found during raid

A Findlay woman was arrested early this morning after a Hancock METRICH Enforcement Unit raid found drugs at a Liberty Street residence.

Lydia A. O’Brien, 32, of 835 Liberty St., was arrested early Wednesday and charged with possession of heroin, a fourth-degree felony, following execution of a search warrant at her residence, according to news release. Additional charges are pending.

METRICK received a search warrant through Findlay Municipal Court Tuesday and at 12:02 a.m., the task force and Findlay Police Department Emergency Response Team seized heroin, crack cocaine, an unspecified amount of cash, hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia, according to the news release from the enforcement unit.

The incident remains under investigation.
