One arrested after drug bust at a West Mansfield Street home

The Crawford County Special Response Team hit another home this week in its efforts to deter drug activity in the county. The Special Response Team, which consists of the Bucyrus and Galion police departments, the Bucyrus Fire Department, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, and METRICH Enforcement Unit, served a search warrant at 240 W. Mansfield St. in Bucyrus Thursday as part of an investigation into drug possession, drug trafficking, and permitting drug abuse. The Bucyrus Police Department reported that one adult male resident was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.

“We appreciate the cooperation of our neighboring agencies and Neighborhood Watch groups,” the police department wrote on its Facebook page.
