Two Fostoria men were arrested Tuesday on drug trafficking charges following a raid at a Potter Street residence.
Brian K. Martin, 42, and Antwantonyo Romez Waites, 32, were both arrested Tuesday and charged with trafficking crack cocaine after the Seneca County Drug Task Force-METRICH Enforcement Unit executed a drug-related search warrant at 210 Potter St.
METRICH was assisted in the raid by officers from Fostoria Police Department and the Sandusky County Drug Task Force. [Read more…]
The METRICH Enforcement Unit made an arrest and seized 30 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl during a raid Tuesday.

On Wednesday, April 5, 2017, the Multi Area Narcotics Task Force arrested three individuals in connection with Trafficking in Heroin and Trafficking in Cocaine. The Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force had been investigating individuals distributing Crack Cocaine and Heroin in the Defiance area. Authorities allege these individuals were coming from the Toledo, Ohio area into Defiance County and distributing the Heroin and Crack Cocaine. These arrests concluded a six month investigation by the Multi-Area Narcotics Task Force. Among the items seized were Heroin, Crack Cocaine and a loaded firearm. The following individuals were arrested and are currently being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. They are expected to appear in court on Friday, April 7, 2017. Additional charges are expected.

Adrionna T. Pritchett, 19, 942 South 13th Street, Toledo, Ohio for Trafficking in Cocaine, a Felony of the Fifth Degree and Trafficking in Heroin, a Felony of the Fourth Degree.
Derion T. Neal, 19, 3207 Elm Street, Toledo, Ohio, for Trafficking in Cocaine, a Felony of the Fifth Degree and Trafficking in Heroin, a Felony of the Fourth Degree.
Vanequa V. Spencer, 19, 337 Daniels Avenue, Toledo, Ohio, for Permitting Drug Abuse, a Felony of the Fifth Degree.
The MAN Unit was assisted by the Defiance City Police Department and the Defiance County Prosecutor’s Office. The MAN Unit is funded through the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services covering, Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding, Putnam and Williams Counties.
A large quantity of fentanyl was seized and 3 men were arrested in the second drug raid in as many days by the Montgomery County R.A.N.G.E. Task Force.
The raid March 23 ended a month long drug trafficking investigation, according to a media release from the task force.
R.A.N.G.E. Task Force Detectives, Homeland Security Investigations and Montgomery County deputies from Harrison Township raided an apartment on East Nottingham Road near Fair Oaks Road, and reportedly seized a large quantity of fentanyl, crack cocaine, marijuana, three handguns and approximately $2,000 in cash. The drug epidemic and overdoses in Lawrence County are a continual issue to the county emergency medical services.
Lawrence County EMS Director Buddy Fry informed the commission on Tuesday that county EMS responded to six drug overdoses with one death this past weekend, and another four overdoses on Monday.
Fry said that, in his estimation, on average, EMS was responding to more than one overdose per day for the year. [Read more…]
