A METRICH enforcement unit detective arrested a man on drug charges Friday afternoon after observing him making several suspected drug transactions. Mark Starr, 32, was charged with trafficking in drugs (heroin), possession of drugs (heroin) and possession of drug-abuse instruments, according to Mansfield police reports.

The third drug bust in Bucyrus in a week took 159 foil balls of suspected heroin off the streets. Bucyrus police, in conjunction with the METRICH Enforcement Unit, Galion police and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, raided a residence at 1125 E. Warren St. shortly before 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
