Three nabbed for drugs

Two people were arrested this morning as Seneca County Drug Task Force - METRICH Enforcement Unit executed a drug-related search warrant at Willow Creek Apartments, Apt. G9. Brady Cornett, 23, was charged with possession of heroin, and Chelsa Chaney, 22, was charged with trafficking in heroin.

Also, early this morning, Sgt. Rob Bour of Tiffin Police Department made a traffic stop for a minor traffic offense, and K9 Andy and Officer Jake DeMonte were called to assist. K9 Andy hit on the vehicle, and a boy from Detroit who was a passenger in the vehicle was found to be in the possession of Oxycodone tablets and $2,401 in cash, according to the department. The boy is being charged with a third-degree felony and is in the juvenile detention center.
