Toledo woman arrested on drug trafficking charge

A woman is in custody on a charge of trafficking drugs in Findlay after an undercover deal Wednesday night.

An investigation is ongoing stemming from The Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force, Findlay police officers and deputies from the Hancock County Sheriff's Office handling a buy/bust around 8:35 p.m., according to a release from the task force.

The suspect, Stacy M. Cieply, 30, of Toledo, was stopped and apprehended in the Casey's Convenience Store parking lot, 1403 N. Main St. Police allege Cieply brought and sold more than 258 grams, or 9.1 ounces, of methamephetamine in Findlay on three occasions. Including money from the staged buy, $732 was seized from Cieply's vehicle.

Cieply is incarcerated at the Hancock County Sheriff's Office and is facing a first-degree felony of trafficking drugs. Police expect additional drug trafficking charges at the end of the investigation.
