Two Search Warrants Executed in Lima
On January 24, 2019, the Multi Area Narcotics Task Force concluded a lengthy investigation with the assistance of West Central Ohio Crime Task Force. Martez E Smith, 36 years of age, from Lima, OH. was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Cocaine, a Felony of the 1st Degree. Following the traffic stop, the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force executed two search warrants in the City of Lima, resulting in further drug related items, money, and a firearm. The case will be presented to the Henry County Prosecutor at the next Henry County Grand Jury for further charges. The Multi Area Narcotics Task Force was assisted by the Napoleon Police Department, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, and Henry County Prosecutor Gwen Howe-Gebers.
