Drug task forces raid Fremont home, find crack cocaine

Drug task forces from Sandusky and Ottawa counties raided a Fremont home Wednesday and found suspected drugs, cash and a gun.

Cherika Magee, 45, of the 100 block of Webster St., was charged with first-degree felony cocaine possession, according to a release from the Sandusky County drug task force.

Law enforcement found nine ounces of cocaine and crack cocaine inside the Webster Street home, along with a .40 caliber handgun, about $8,000 cash, and other paraphernalia “related to drug trafficking,” the release stated.

The Ottawa County drug task force was “instrumental” in the investigation leading to Wednesday’s search warrant, the release stated.

Magee could face additional charges of drug trafficking, money laundering, crack cocaine possession, possessing criminal tools and weapons charges, the release stated.
