Highland County Sheriff Richard Warner reports that over the past 2 months the Highland County Sheriff's Office, the Hillsboro Police Department and the U.S 23 Major Crimes Task Force have conducted several investigations of Drug Trafficking in HighlandCounty. As a result of these investigations, on April 1, 2014, the Highland County Grand Jury indicted 28 subjects on more than 110 counts ranging from Possession of Drugs to Trafficking in Drugs to Engaging in a... Pattern of Corrupt Activity.

On April 1st 2014, the Highland County Sheriff's Office along with the Hillsboro Police Department, the Greenfield Police Department and the Lynchburg Police Department conducted a round up and arrested 14 subjects with multiple count indictments.

Jeremy Boyd of Hillsboro was arrested for Trafficking in Drugs.

Chadley Robinette of Hillsboro was arrested for 3 counts of Trafficking in Drugs and 2 counts of Possession of Drugs.

Aaron McKenzie of Hillsboro was arrested for Illegal Manufacturing of Drugs and Illegal Assembly of Chemicals.

Ryan Stephenson of Hillsboro was arrested for Illegal Manufacturing of Drugs and Illegal Assembly of Chemicals.

Timothy Adams of Hillsboro was arrested for 3 counts of Trafficking in Drugs and 3 counts of Possession of Drugs.

Amanda Christ of Hillsboro was arrested for 3 counts of Trafficking in Drugs and one count of Possession of Drugs.

April Storms of Hillsboro was arrested for 4 counts of Trafficking in Drugs and 5 counts of Possession of Drugs.

Ryan West of Hillsboro was arrested for Trafficking in Drugs and Possession of Drugs.

John Layne II of Hillsboro was arrested for 3 counts of Trafficking in Drugs and 4 counts of Possession of Drugs.

David Temple of Hillsboro was arrested for Illegal Assembly of Chemicals.

Bryon Clemons of Hillsboro was arrested for Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt activity, 7 counts of Trafficking in Drugs and 7 counts of Possession of Drugs.

Astasia Deaton of Hillsboro was arrested for Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt activity, 4 counts of Trafficking in Drugs and 4 counts of Possession of Drugs.

Justin Deaton of Hillsboro was arrested for 2 counts of Trafficking in Drugs and 2 counts of Possession of Drugs.

Preston Ballinger of Hillsboro was arrested for Trafficking in Drugs and Possession of Drugs.

Additional subjects are being sought after involving this investigation.
