An unnamed drug operation Thursday night may not have garnered the greatest numbers, but it sent a message. "We've had good success in the city of Rittman," said Medway director Dave Smith. "We felt it was time a message needed to be sent that we're out there."

An on-going heroin investigation resulted in two arrests Monday night. Crawford County Sheriff Scott Kent said officers from his department, assisted by the METRICH enforcement unit, Galion police and the Ohio Highway Patrol seized heroin, marijuana, syringes, drug paraphernalia and cash from a residence on Ohio 19.

Twelve people were arrested following a drug interdiction operation in Perry County on Monday. Deputies from the Perry County Sheriff's Office and the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force stopped 28 vehicles and raided a home in the 100 block of Broad Street in Glenford.
