Task force arrests Lima resident

The West Central Ohio Task Force arrested a Lima man after executing a search warrant at about 9:30 a.m. Friday.

The task force, with aid from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, executed a warrant at 215 N. Washington St. The warrant was obtained after a short-term investigation by the task force into the illegal sale of crack cocaine from the residence.

Taken into custody was Ronald Collins, of Lima. Also, officials said crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash were seized at the residence.

Collins was being held in the Allen County Jail pending formal charges of drug trafficking. Additional charges will be considered by an Allen County grand jury.
